Hello, i was wondering in what country is this guitar made in, and is the ESP version still in production, if not how, many had been built?

Carl N.

THis will be made in Korea and the ESP version is still being made

What is the toggle switch on the upper bout for? It doesn't seem to do anything on the one I just purchased. Is it just for looks?

Carl N.

Hey Keith, if you open up the back plate to this switch you will see it is currently not wired with the rest of the instrument.  This is left there so that you have the option to wire the switch from that position and perhaps replace the lower switch with another control knob if desired.

Hello,

I was wondering when ESP / LTD was going to catch up with the competition?  Schecter is putting Stainless Steel frets on their budget and higher end guitars.  This last year I purchased 3 guitars 1 Ibanez & 2 schecters over LTD's that I would have purchased if they had Stainless Steel frets.

Stainless Steel frets provide a much smoother easier playability especially when coupled with Stainless Steel strings.  No need to worry about fret dressing etc.. etc.. If a company like Schecter can do this I don't see why ESP / LTD cannot.  Especially being LTD line is a much larger line than Schecter.

At this point I have decided that I will no longer buy guitars that do not have stainless steel frets.  So at this point I may no longer be an ESP customer if you guys cannot keep up with your competition.  You can only fly so long on your name and reputation like Gibson has.  We all know how this has impacted Gibson.

It's severely disappointing to see a company like Schecter and Ibanez now putting SS strings on their guitars and ESP/LTD is not... It makes me wonder if you guys care about your product and your customers.  Makes wonder if you guys have the passion for guitars and music.

Don't let your reputation go into the trash and have to try and climb back up to meet up with the quality of companies you are larger than.  Hence what Gibson did... Look at the hell they are going through right now trying to get their customer base back.  I'll never touch a Gibson for as long as I live.

Something as simple as Stainless Steel frets can make or break you guys.  High output strings such as Ernie Ball Cobalt and M-Steel will destroy the nickel frets you are putting on guitars twice the cost of a Schecter...

Get with the game or fall behind... You've already lost 3 guitar purchases from me in 2019.
