In 2024, how to order this brand new guitar? Its impossible to find this guitar in 2024, as a never use instrument. Someone can help about how to order a New ESP White Iron Cross Guitar? Not LTD model.
May I ask why was the black one discontinued?
Why are there two three way toggle switches
To leave the option for alternate control schemes
One of them is just for decoration because James thinks it looks cool.
Hello, do you have an official distributor in Mexico? If not, which US distributor handles the ESP version online?
I cannot find any US distributor for the ESP version in your list.
Here are our international distributors
Lol
Hi, I have one, wonderful! will they make a black version of it?
Do you sell it?
No!
We did produce a black version in years past but this has since been discontinued
I live in Greece and the main ESP dealer is Nakas (there is no other one in Athens or Thessaloniki) and he mainly stocks LTD guitars. For more expensive ESPs he must order them. I am interested in ESP Iron Cross guitar which even on Thomann (the Greek site) isn't available but only after order. Another problem with Thomann is that it doesn't give you the option of finance and in both cases (Nakas or Thomann) you just CANT play and check the guitar before buying...Its like paying almost 5000euros and you get a surprise instrument! I don't say that I doubt the quality of it but just being based on YouTube videos isn't fair (and there aren't many regarding the ESP- the majority is about the LTD model).
Is there an ESP LTD Iron Cross made in Japan?
ESP instruments will be made in Japan
What is the price difference between the ESP & the LTD? And what will be the easiest way to acquire them from Canada?
Hey Thor, there are many differences between the two but the main cause for the price difference will be that the ESP Iron Cross will be made one at a time in Japan whereas the LTD version is produced at one of our overseas factories in a production line manner. I'd reach out to the Canadian distributor to see if they know a store that stocks this or if they can order one for you.
Noted. Thank you Carl!
Is this a limited run?
Hey Mark, we've offered this one for quite some time, not a limited run.
Thanks
Where can I get one and how much for the iron cross James Hetfield Snow White esp Ltd??
Hi Ryan, If you are within the USA the price is listed on each product page. If you live outside the US, please contact your local distributor or nearest dealer for your pricing. Here is a link to our distributor page: https://www.espguitars.com/locations?categories=intl-distributors
Any comments on JH Set vs. 81/60?
Hi Richard, here are some notes for you to compare. 81/60 has a tighter focus or lower ceiling, while the HET Set has more headroom (this equates to more volume with some ears). Het Set are a bit more open sounding and have a more organic roll of compared to 81/60. JH bridge p.u. is a little fatter than the 81, while the 81 is a little more articulate. I hope these descriptions help you a bit. Both sets are great, and both use ceramic magnets but internally there are different construction features going on. I know that James used the 81/60 set for a long time and wanted to start with that sound and build something on top of that sound and make it also have a certain look that was achieved.
Thanks Todd. Really helpful. I’ve got a lefty Custom Shop inquiry for this guitar in to ESP from Jason at DCGL. Hopefully it can be done.
Do you have an approximate weight for this also? Trying to compare to Les Paul Custom (non-weight relieved), which I’m guessing is thicker and heavier, just not sure by how much.
Hi Richard, Great, hope you can get some help from Jason at DCGL. These definitely are lighter than a traditional LP since the thickness is about 10mm thinner (little less than 1/2"). Weights can vary a bit but these should be in the 9-10lb range.
