Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks, and quality that working professional musicians need in an instrument. The MH-1000 Baritone is designed to handle the extended lower range of modern metal and progressive rock with its 27” scale and typical tuning a fourth below standard (B-E-A-D-F#-B) while still retaining ideal string tension and tone. This monster guitar offers neck-thru-body construction for stability and sustain, using an arched mahogany body with maple cap, and an extra-thin three-piece maple neck. its design includes a compound neck radius for maximum speed and comfort. Its Macassar ebony fingerboard features 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets and offset white pearloid block inlays. White binding on the body, neck and headstock helps define this guitar’s sleek shape. Components on the MH-1000 Baritone include LTD locking tuners, a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body, and direct-mount EMG 81 and EMG 60TW-R pickup with coil splitting and brushed black chrome covers.

Ive had my mh1000b for a little over 4 months. I am in love with this guitar. Everything else has taken a backseat to it. It just is what it is. This is my first ltd, and i am beyond impressed.

I've had the EC-1000 Baritone for a while and love it! It prompted me to get the MH-1000 Baritone. This guitar is fantastic! 27 inch scale, satin black finish, compound radius, locking tuners, EMG pickups, light weight....you cannot lose with this if you're looking for a baritone. ESP puts out some of the best guitars out there! MH-1000B is a winner.

Got mine today!  FYI fits the current standard MH case perfectly.  It does not fit the older TKL ESP case for my KH-2.

How are you liking it? Mostly the feeling how's it feel?? I'm so excited for mine, I've been waiting since may!

christopher s.

It’s great, well worth the wait. Fretwork and fit & finish are outstanding.  Taking it out of the box I forgot it was longer scale, and playing it doesn’t feel much longer than standard.  Might increase the low B string gauge for drop tuning.

Would you be able to share when you placed your order? Asking as mine has been on order since July 2022 (with zero updated) and I see other comments about some ordered even earlier. Thanks and congrats on the axe!

christopher s.

I ordered from guitar center last February, then canceled and bought from a smaller online dealer in late December.

Mr.MisterFurious

Funny u cancelled the GC order and went with a small shop. I originally went into my local indie shop to order this and the EC version and they straight told me I'd have better luck with GC, because they were higher on the pecking order for inventory. So, that's what I did.

It's been a full calendar year (ordered in March of 22) and not so much as an update. At least I know these are getting to customers...maybe I'll get mine in 2024...

Ive been a schecter guy for almost  20 years. i know they are owned buy same person and have had Ltd models in the past that were good. aIm nervous to buy as schecter has wider neck and is 26.5 instead of 27. so glad you think the scale don't feel to long, i may just buy this as no other places are making them how i like and with bridge i like.

Happy the MH Baritone finally got the Ebony fretboard! A Blade switch is also a plus in my book. Not sure about the reverse headstock tho, looks less classy.

christopher s.

I prefer reverse on ESP's.  Patiently waiting for mine to ship!

Ryan S.

I think it looks badass! Reverse headstocks FTW! Patiently waiting for mine since may 2022
