Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks, and quality that working professional musicians need in an instrument. The M-1000 Snow White updates one of the coolest guitars in the M Series with an even more outstanding design, featuring new neck-thru construction and a set of direct-mount Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers (alnico in the neck position, ceramic in the bridge), with a push-pull control to activate each pickup’s second voicing. This guitar also features a comfortable alder body, a satin finish on the back of its extra-thin U-shaped neck, and a compound neck radius. Its Macassar ebony fingerboard has black binding, 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, and offset mother-of-pearl dot inlays. Components on the M-1000 Snow White include Grover tuners and a Floyd Rose 1000SE bridge with stainless steel screws.

First of all, I've been an EMG guy for 30+ years and still love them but the Fishman pickups sound amazing to me. I love the satin finish on the back of the neck as well. This is my first guitar with stainless frets and after using them, I can't see a reason to buy another guitar with nickel frets. My only complaint is that it there isn't a hardtail option in this color. A Floyd Rose tremolo is nothing more than cosmetic to me since I don't use them and never have. If I could afford a custom shop ESP, I would order this guitar but with a hardtail. Maybe even add the KH skull inlays. Aside from that, it's a great guitar and I'm extremely pleased with how it feels as well as how it sounds. Shout out to the folks at Lightning Joe's Guitar Heaven in Arroyo Grande, California for their help and service. I'm glad they are local and an authorized ESP/LTD dealer.
