Not the most ergonomic guitar in the world but that's okay! It plays amazing, looks amazing, and looks even better. The only thing wrong with it is the binding doesn't align with the top but when playing it's not an issue. No issues when playing at all. I replaced the bridge pickup with a fluence modern open core and it turned it into a beast. Couldn't be happier about this guitar.

How can I tell what country my 1000t was made in?

I just got this guitar and it is stunningly beautiful and plays amazingly, not really a fan of the pickups so Im on the hunt for some active pickups just havent decided on which ones.

Why does the weight differ so much from guitar to guitar for the exact same model?

So I ordered one of these guitars from an online retailer. Super excited as i have been waiting for these to have steel frets. I have never had issues with these before but now, in the era of covid, they have cheaped out and moved production to indonesia. I never found an issue on one of their south korean guitars. The very first guitar i order sonce covid has multiple issues. Finish problems all over and a crack in the finish of the body. It was not the shipper, as the box was unblemished. Do not buy these guitars. This was, until now, my favorite guitar company.

I unfortunately have to agree, I had similar workmanship issues with another Indonesia-made Ltd (EC-1001FM) and had to return it, twice ... I now only look for the (few) models that are still produced in Korea. I for one would be happy to pay a bit more to receive a guitar without any such issues and would appreciate if ESP were to clearly state the place of production to let the consumer decide what he/she is willing to accept in terms of the price/quality trade-off.

They didn't cheap out and move to Indonesia factories due to COVID, they have had Indonesian made guitars for a while now... I ALSO bought one of these Tobacco Sunburst, just a couple months back, and mine was Made in Korea... It TRULY just depends on which one you buy on where it comes from. Mine is SOLID, and just like my 10 other ESP / LTD guitars, amazing players for the money, and beautiful to look at.
