It's too bad they dont make this model with passive pickups. Put a Seymour Duncan Perpetual Burn on the bridge, and 59 on the neck.

        Hi guys, can we please have some new colours for the FR series EC's please? And also can you Abalone binding and fret markings in countries other than the USA?

        I'm in the UK and have an 1000FR in See-thru black with Abalone binding, and it is simply beautiful. But it took almost a year of searching to locate this rare (over here) model. It is one of the THE nicest guitars ever produced, anywhere, both to look at and play. And as a collector of guitars, I'm eager to buy more of them, but just not in black.

        You have some amazing colours in the rest of the EC series range, so it'd be awesome to see some of these on the FR models. I'd place an order tomorrow if there were other colours. Us Floyd Rose fans around the world would love to see more 1000FR-colour-love from the legendary colour guys over at ESP (must watch the PMT Music tour YT videos). 

        Colours I'd love to see on the FR series: 

        VIOLET SHADOW (I know this is offered now, but only Sweetwater, and they just won't ship to the UK, no matter how much I try and pursued them)
        LYNCH BURST - Understood this is a pipedream, but man, if that isn't THE most amazing colour ever on a guitar, and what a tribute to an absolute legend. 
        COBALT BLUE
        SEE THRU PURPLE
        SEE THRU BLACK CHERRY

        Go on guys, you know you want to, and you know they'd sell like hot cakes!!

            Man.  What a nice guitar.  Just epic.  ESP always has the coolest guitars for rock and metal. Really they work for all genre's,  but for sure my type of a rock god guitar!

              I buy this guitar new from a store , is made in Korea 2020 but in the soul cape say ec-1001fr , the 1001 is different no ?

                I noticed that the EC1000FR STB from the 2021 collection that are made in Korea are marked in the little plate on the guitar as "EC1001FR", and in the back of the headstock, the serial # starts with W20 (wich means they were made in the year 2020), is there a reason for that?, cause I was about to cancel my order when I noticed the EC1001FR plate thinking the store made a mistake, but then saw other guitars from 2021 collection made in Korea with the same plate and year of manufacture, any insights?

                            Hi Robert, This model comes with the FR 1000 SE Special Edition bridge with stainless steel screws. This is not a FR Special. Those can be found on some of our 200/400 series.
