Id like to see this with a sandblasted Fire Blast finish over a swamp ash body
Got mine about a month ago. Every bit as awesome as I had hoped. A very "fast" neck and super aggressive sound! Surprisingly this sounds amazing with my acoustic simulator pedal. Have a PRS with a pretty resonate body and it sounds good, but the clarity of the emgs makes this really convincing. Though I got it 99% for metal.
Probably ESP’s cleverest design. Nice matte black as well. Their Eclipse line has come a long way. Just an excellent guitar.
Just picked one of these up from Gear Orphanage. What a player.
Pros:
-The setup. This is the third ESP I've bought in the last 2-3 months. All 3 came playable out of the box. Not just acceptable but extremely playable.
-The Floyd is pretty stable. I use it sparingly for vibrato and sublte effects.
- Amazing sustain. The EMG pickups combined with the neck through build allow this guiatr to sustain extremly well. I was suprised considering it's not a string through bridge setup
Cons:
- I play Les Pauls and LTD seven strings ( I have a Carpenter Tele and an H1001) and boy is the neck ever tiny. I have to get use to it, but it's not really a con so much as something that drew my attention.
- The price. These guitars are really starting to creep up in price. This was around $1700 new here in Canada. That's a bit much in my opinion.
Overall I'm extremely happy with this guitar. I guess my only complaint is that for almost $2000 after tax, it should come with a case of sorts.
Finally released a model in all the color and specs I've been harping about in one guitar!
Hello there, the floyd rose is the 1000 pro SE or the 1000 SE? or those two are just the same? Thanks.
I just played an ec 256 . The neck thickness and shape , as well as the fretwork, are perfect. I love esp/ltd but...as with many companies...neck shape is all over the place. Necks are the most important part but companies are
ver clear on neck shape/thickness model to model . Thin u and extra thin u does not cover all esp/ltd models. A true U shape is a thick C with extra shoulders like a 70s strat . Many of these like the m 100 fm was a D shape . Flatter back , round shoulders. The Kirk Hammett I played was like a super thin c .
Jackson is very consistent, but their body styles and finishes are stuck in the 80s along with some questionable new styles...but, the speed neck shape is very consistent. I'll give them that .
I'd be great if you offered a " classic " neck that is thick , and a modern that is thin in all models . I love Esp . This site is like my Sears catalog but I'd do alot more buying with a good choice of neck shapes and them being accurately described for each model.
Just my 2c.
Oh yeah! My kinda guitar..
I would love to see this (and LTDs in general) available with a Sustainiac.
Well, you can always buy It separately if you really want to have one on it I suppose
Great if it’s an extra option, but I’ve been so frustrated by schecter for making sustainiac exclusive guitars; you can always convert to a sustainiac, but you can’t convert back, as the sustainiac requires an extra toggle switch hole that can’t be covered without significant body work.
Dig this guitar. My first LTD but not my last.
See it emg pickups
David bloom very cool guitar
You guys should really think about just offering a single model and let the customers choose colors , pickup and bridge combinations.... I know that is asking alot but for me a flat black one is very nice but would love to have this guitar with the piezo offered in the blue as you have but also a floyd which im pretty sure someone makes a piezo floyd ... and maybe even a sustainiac of fernandez sustainer option would be cool as well... love your guitars btw !
The guitars are such good deals because of production standardization, allowing modification for individual parts for each customer would jack up the guitar up to a price that would be more than if you just bought this model and put your own pickups in it.
Stainless steel frets?!?!?!

Ec 1000 FR with 22 stainless steel and fishmann fluence. and E 2 eclypse mdel with FR for 2022 Please !
A lefty vintage black has been my dream for 10 years now. This is approaching but please make it happen
Waiting to hear from a dealer if I can get a lefty one here in the UK
Please make it on vintage black, those are the true colors of a good ec-1000
Finally ! Thank you for listening. Lefty version too. Now make it vintage black.
Okay so I see you've finally decided to release a left handed EC1000FR... If the price is reasonable I'm definitely grabbing it!
