where are these guitars made? sources say South Korea but Sweetwater shows they're made in Indonesia...

Is this model equipped with stainless steel frets?
Bought this and absolutely love it. Only wish it had a matching headstock. Hint Hint
The ESP USA Custom ones do. Also they're NTB.
the 87 series should be permanent run with different finishes/ or horizons being added
It's not a permanent run?
A matching headstock would've been killer!!!!
Thanks for the suggestion!

I really wish this were not an ultra thin U neck. I would like an LTD with active pickups, H-S config. and the normal "thin U" neck, bolt-on as an alternative to my Horizon or Eclipse NT/set neck. In fact, an ESP with similar specs to the Mayones' Blakkheim Gothic Setius or Regius bolt-on TOM models might work well.
Hell no on reverse headstock BTW; it's aesthetically pleasing, but too much of a pain in the ass.
thanks for the suggestions!
You use the tuners a lot with a floyd equipped guitar?
It needs a reverse headstock like Buckethead’s old ESP guitar!
thanks for the recommendation
I'd like this one in Candy apple red.I need a neck pick up.
thanks for the insight
Guitar of my dream
I wish it had a direct mount HB without the pup trim cover. That would be totally RAD! The S-HB setup is my signature style. The color is perfect but a maple fretboard would define it as superb. Then cut the pointed head down (because all mine have chips in them) and it's a sale!
I think the idea of these were to make them as closely as possible to the original 87 models. Not necessarily improve them. The stuff you said does sound awesome though.
Thanks for sharing Larry!
How much does it cost?
It's posted above at $999. but usually retail is lower so maybe $799 at Sweetwater or Guitar Center.
I’ve seen prices between $999.99 - $1099.99 at all the big name, online retailers. And for guitars possibly made in Indonesia. Yikes!
Is This Made in Korea?
Hey MASSIMILIANO, these are currently being produced in both Korea and Indonesia.
Lefty???
Hey Soullessghost, no left handed offerings at the moment.
Cool!
