Release date? Price?
Hey Nicolas, these are out now. Pricing is available on our site for our customers viewing within the U.S. If you are outside of the U.S. you would need to reach out to your local ESP distributor for pricing.
What are the dimensions on the Extra Thin U neck profile? (Thickness at the 1st and 12th)
Hey Wayne, 19mm-21mm hope this helps!
Carl N. the quality difference between korean instruments and indonesian ones is massive.
I have a korean ltd h400 (2005 - 2006) and it's built better than the indonesian h3-1000.
That's why i am asking. If i am to be a customer again i would like to know which instruments I am going to aim for.
The indonesian ones are definitely not for me. Also really sad that you seem to have moved most of your production there.
The korean 400 series were perfect.
(pls note that this is just someone's opinion)
Opinion, but as I see it is not the only one. Raises doubts. I have an H-1001fm stblk made in Korea, it's perfect. I was thinking now of something from Floyd Rose, and this year's models are really interesting, but when I read all these opinions about the 1000 series from Indonesia, I don't know if I will decide. I bought a new H-1001 and I expected it to be an instrument for years and it is. I am afraid that if I sell and take a new model I will regret it. Unfortunately, I can't afford to own two, let alone take risks.
Hey Krzysztof, opinions are just that, opinions. Best way to find something out would be to check them out yourself. Stop into an ESP dealer and go through their selection and see how they make you feel. Hope you enjoy whatever it is you decide on.
Hey George, completely understandable, I try and convey that quality will be the same regardless of which factory the instrument comes from but it is hard to sway someone that already has their opinion set. I have been with ESP just about ten years now and have gone through nearly 40,000 instruments in this time, I cannot stress enough that quality is the same, I feel like a broken record at times. There will always be an instance where individual instruments differ, this is the nature of the industry.
@ Carl N. Anyway. This is going far and i don't want it to.
I don't understand why you would move your "premium" line of instruments to Indonesia. The Koreans were excellent(both the 1000 and the 400 series).
@ Krzysztof M. Dude you have a great guitar. A friend of mine has that one and it is stellar. My two cents. Don't sell it. Especially if it was your first.
Also Carl is right. Don't let me or anyone else cloud your judgement. The internet for the most part is confusing. Go out and try whatever you like. If you really like it, you can't go wrong. Your hands and the way you will feel the instrument can't be wrong. It's personal taste after all.
*I would recommend, in case you are looking for a new instrument to go hunt for a used ESP. Used they usually cost close to the price of the 1000 series. I promise you it will be extremely different than anything you laid your hands on.
No worries George, when you don't have as much experience with these factories it is easy to come to conclusions about them. What I just try and say is that the quality will be on par from one factory to another, no reason to cause concern because an instrument is made in one country rather than another. The quality standards are the same for our 1000 series instruments regardless of what country they are produced in. Hope this helps!
"Zatrzymaj się u dealera ESP i przejrzyj jego ofertę i zobacz, jak się czujesz. "
Unfortunately, this is a problem in my country. The closest official dealer is in Germany, far away. In Poland, there are often lower, cheaper series in the store. Of course, the deluxe series and ESP standard / E II also happen, but this is random. Rather, you need to order and decide. We'll see, maybe someone will try and have guitars in stock (probably in half a year :( ).
Hope for the best for you Krzysztof!
Would it please be possible to add the country of origin in the specifications?
Hey George, country of origin can differ as we produce many of our instruments through different factories. Shouldn't be a cause for concern as quality will remain the same between them all.
