Got this guitar this week. After a set up plays amazing. Love the Fishman pickups! One of the best finishes I have ever seen. ESP has some amazing employees glad to support this company!

Hi there, Thanks very much for your comments and review. We're so happy to hear that you like your new instrument. Thanks for choosing ESP!

No doubt that this is the best-looking guitar I've EVER owned. I doubt that the custom version with white binding looks as attractive as this LTD with black binding.

I am honestly not a TOM bridge, nor a Fishman Modern set fan, so some other configuration/spec of this model might be more favorable, but this is one kickass factory guitar from Korea. Beautiful and inspiring every time you actually have a look at its colors while playing.

I think I will switch to either the Fishman Classic or the Devin Townsend. The Modern bridge has unfavorable high frequencies in its profile.

I just got this and it's so much better in person! The paint is amazing,  the fishmans are fantastic and overall it's A+.

glad you enjoy it

This Violet Andromeda says “L Available.” Is it available in left handed? I am a lefty, and I want this guitar more than anything... if I could find it available for me, I would buy it right now, without hesitation.

Carl N.

Yes,  will denote an instrument that is also produced in left handed.  You can reach out to your preferred ESP dealer to see if they have one available.

How long should the battery last? I got my guitar less than a week ago and the battery died already

Carl N.

battery life can vary but in order to avoid any unwanted drain on your battery it is recommended to not leave your instrument plugged in while not in use

I'm seeing the same thing.  I've had mine 3 weeks, and I've had to change the battery twice.  I don't leave it plugged in, or nothing.  I turn all knobs down after I play them.  After I changed the battery last week, I played 6 songs that night, and haven't played it until tonight, and the battery was down to 1 volt.  Out of my 27 ESP guitars, this is the only one that does it.

In my case, after I changed the battery to Duracell more than two weeks ago, it still works. And I use almost every day for a few hours.

We'll see how long it lasts this time.

Anton S.

An update. After I posted my previous comment my battery died again. So I guess if you use the guitar every day the battery will last for about a week or two top.

Frederick B.

Crap.  That's not what I was wanting to hear.  Tested my battery before putting a new one in, and it was at 9.7 volts.  I'll check where it is in a week.  I only played mine once for about 6 songs, and it died.  If it's drained, I'll have to open it up to start looking at the wiring.

I had the same issue with batteries draining in a few days, even with the guitar unplugged. I contacted ESP and the retailer - both of which were unhelpful. After a bit of research on the web I took out the input jack and found a lot of debris from manufacture / assembly - off-cut wire strands, sawdust etc. A strand of loose wire was creating a short between two of the contacts in the input jack. I cleaned out the rubbish and that seems to have fixed the problem. So now my guitar is great, and I know ESP needs to improve quality control and customer service - along with it's dealer.
