i got this guitar about 18 months ago.  Plays great, has a great rock tone but quite versatile. i cant tell you how many complements ive had about its looks but also how much people like to play it.  ESP makes great stuff!

I tried this guitar at a music store once I’m used to cheap guitars that u kinda have to dig in to get a good sound , this guitar felt so easy to play it was effortless

I would have preferred block inlays made with mother of pearl and a strip of abalone in the middle of the mother of pearl block. Would have taken this beautiful guitar to a whole new level.

I was lucky enough to snag one of these and one of the EC-1000 QM Violet Shadow for Christmas last year, I cannot say enough good things about these guitars. Seriously, if you can swing it, buy one. You will not regret it. I've had 100's of guitars over the past 15 years, from all the major manufacturers and this LTD blows them all out of the water. The fit and finish is phenomenal. Seriously, amazing guitar.

Dear ESP,

is this model still being produced in left handed? This is basically my dream guitar ever since I saw one (righty), although at that time I couldn't fit one in my budget.

However, not even the righty one is available at any local shop by now. (I'm from Budapest - Hungary)

I there any way to get a deal on a brand new lefty at this point of time?

Todd B. ESP

Hi, this model is currently available in LH version. However please contact your nearest dealer or distributor for availability in your area. Here is a link to our distributor page: https://www.espguitars.com/locations?categories=intl-distributors

Hi, still wondering if this blue natural fade is going to be made in left hand by summer?

Thanks

Carl N.

Yes, as I mentioned before they should be available this summer and they are still on the way for this summer.  Be sure to preorder one with your ESP dealer and you could very well get the first one.

Luiz P.

is the top a real poplar burl cap or a veneer?

Carl N.

This will be a veneer, hope this helps

Kevin K.

Is this currently being made in Korea at WI factory?

Carl N.

These are currently made in Indonesia and Korea

Curt P.

Hi, are you going to make the blue natural fade in left handed? I thought I seen that somewhere but can't seem to find it again. If so when do you think they will be available?

Carl N.

Should be available this summer

Curt P.

Awesome! I'll be waiting!

Curt P.

Also, where will they manufacture the lefties at?

David H.

Hi I was wondering will the thickness of the body be the same as the eii eclipse model in the same finish thanks

Carl N.

Yes, these will have similar thicknesses

Mat C.

Will this restock?

I kept a tab open with this beauty on display, and when I finally decided to hit Buy (US Only), it didn’t work. I reloaded the tab, and the buy button was gone... now I’m having a lot of trouble finding it in stock in my area. Help!

Todd B. ESP

Hi Mat, This is a new model released for this year, so we have been filling dealer and customer's orders as we receive our inventory. If they don't show as available, then they will be replenished soon. You could always contact your favorite dealer and put it on order so when they come in your order can get filled. Keep in mind with the current health crisis going on, there are certainly slow downs with delivery and some stores may not be open temporarily.

rvmarra

Might be my impression. I got the Korean one... The indonesian looks to have more blue, reaching the neck pick ups...

Carl N.

These are all painted by hand so some variation in the fade can be expected.

rvmarra

Am I mistaken or the Korean finish is different from the indonesian one (that have somekind of pearl shine)?

Carl N.

Finish will be the same from either factory as they use the same supplier.

Chris C.

Is the burl top solid or vineer?

Carl N.

Hey Chris, this will be a veneer.  Hope this helps

luckyguitar

This looks amazing so I saw somebody else asked if it was Indonesian or Korean has anybody got any confirmation on that? Because I have a couple of EC Korean ones and they just feel and play better than any of the other versions so I’m hoping to get this in the Korean version.

Carl N.

Hey Lucky, they are made in both Korea and Indonesia.

Andrew C.

Are any of the new EC1000s left handed?

Carl N.

Hey Andrew, the EC-1000 with Fluence pickups will be made in left handed for 2020.

Tom C.

Made in Korea or Indonesia?

Carl N.

Hey Tom, they're made in both actually.

Tom C.

Ok, thank you. I personally prefer the Korea models, as my one and only Indonesia (the newer EC-1000T Fluence model in Satin Honey Burst with Open Core Classics) , and the Pickup switch fell apart on stage during it's 5th gig, and the body has serious issues, but all my Korea models are going strong (2010 - 2017 currently in my lineup). Thanks again for the response, I'll be sure to source a Korean model, these are absolutely beautiful. I ONLY play ESP, and they keep getting better, unlike the "grandad" of the single cut lol

Carl N.

Thanks for sharing Tom
