    The BK-600 is one of the LTD Signature Series guitars for Bill Kelliher, guitarist for award-winning American metal band Mastodon. Designed by Bill to provide the wide range of tones needed for Mastodon’s music while being sturdy and reliable enough for his most punishing rhythms and brutal riffs throughout long tours, the BK-600 is based on the single-cutaway ESP Eclipse guitar style, along with a traditional full body thickness and no waist cut. Its three-piece mahogany neck is joined to the body with set-thru construction at 24.75” scale for smooth and comfortable fast access to the upper frets. The BK-600 offers an ebony fingerboard with pearloid “ESP Flag” inlays and 22 frets, as well as binding on the body, neck, and headstock. Its sound is generated with a set of customized Seymour Duncan Distortion pickups, the original high output humbucker with a massive ceramic magnet and hot coil windings to deliver full-bodied rock and metal tones that are controlled with master volume and tone knobs that each offer a push-pull control to split the bridge and neck pickups respectively. Other professional features on the LTD BK-600 include locking tuners and a TonePros locking bridge and tailpiece. It’s available in a distinctively cool Military Green Sunburst Satin finish.

                Carl I love ESP. My next guitar is going to be another ESP E II Eclipse. I´m feeling that my development in my playing is taking me more to the 70s blues rock and I´m not sure if there is a real difference in classic low output pickups versus my EMGs. I also love my EMGs pickups. I would like to have a ESP with that kind of pickups to get all the tones possibilities. Maybe I ended changing to another set of EMGs because as I said I love everything in my guitars. But the stainless steel frets is a must. You are going to do it in a future I´m sure. And my question about this model is if it have weight relief or not. Also this model is so beautifull that deserves a E II version. Thank for the answer

                  Anytime you change pickups, even when keeping the same brand of pickup, you will ultimately change the tone of the instrument.  While there are some factors like construction, woods used, and hardware that can affect the sound of your instrument, nothing else will change it more drastically than changing pickups, especially moving to a passive, lower output pickup from a high output active pickup.  For this model, it will be full thickness without any chambering besides what is already cut out for the electronics cavity and the toggle switch cavity.  Hope this helps

                    Hi ESP. Full thickness love it. I would like more set neck. No weight relief??? That guitar looks awesome. I would like an E II japanese made version. I have two ESP eclipse E II and can´t find a reason to try another brand. Just I would like to see a low output pickups eclipse that show how ESP are on the top for every music genre even the vintages blues rock tones. I can get it with my EMGs but I would like to try with vintage low output pickups. You could say "change the pickups" but I really want a ESP eclipse made for "let all the tone woods allow to hear" if that "tone wood" really exist. And put stainless steel frets friends. No one wants to send his precious guitar to refret.
