These are great guitars. If you can grab one, do it!! Next thing you know, they will stop building them.

Why is the ESP M1 no longer available?

Can we get the cheaper versions of the tiger stripes again? They were great!

Once again you guys jack the price up on this guitar and the year isn't even over yet. $699.99 for guitar that was $499.99 about 5 years ago. What a joke when the Floyd Rose Special tremolo is garbage and the ESP designed pickups are crap. I'm never buying another ESP or LTD guitar again. I can buy a Harley Benton guitar for less with better Floyd Rose 1000 series and better pickups. Good luck with your inflation because I'm out.

I currently have the GL200k and the Kami 4 and now I just added the 200mt to my collection. As a George fan,  I could not be happier with these signatures and each play very good and look amazing.  I also own the MW skull and Tri-Ryche and love them both as well.  Does ESP have any plans to bring back the Chris DeGarmo MII Warhol Graphic in an LTD version?  He is such an underrated guitarist and awesome musician plus this would round out my Queensryche guitar collection!

Just bought this guitar as a birthday gift for... myself! It was the only one on the wall at my local dealer, and all the staff were raving about it. Everyone loves George, myself included, so I had to have it. It plays and sounds FANTASTIC given its price point. And I'm a simple kind of guy when it comes to gear; just give me the 1 pickup and volume knob... GO! Loving this till one day when I can afford the sunburst model...

Todd B. ESP

Hi Chris, Happy Birthday! That is a nice gift. Glad to hear you love it and thanks for choosing ESP!

Steve Lamera

Please ... make Tiger Relic Version M in 2021,
but at an affordable price ... $ 4,000 for a signature is too much .... -_-

Todd B. ESP

Hey Steve, thanks for your suggestion.

MrScary88

Same guitar but every year the price goes up $49. Seems like all of your guitars at any price point go up $49 every year. That's one hell of an inflation rate if you ask me. I bought an ESP E-II ST-2 FM Tiger Eye in 2014-2015 for $1,699 and now they are what $2,299 now. I don't think I'll ever buy another ESP LTD or ESP E-II unless it's used or really cheap. But really cheap means you have replace the pickups, tuners, and bridge if you want a decent guitar. It's very disappointing the direction ESP is going in guitar models and prices.

Todd B. ESP

Hi MrScary88, Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. There are some years and some models that may not have a price increase, but sometimes, regrettable it has to be done to keep up with costs. We appreciate you sharing this issue with us here and we hope that you'll get an opportunity to get your hands on another ESP in the future.

Would you ever consider putting stripes on the back of the body like Lynch's original or is that a custom shop order?

I have all the George lynch models except for the yellow tiger , the quality absolutely sucks , I’ve had to redo everything , the only thing I kept was the bodies and necks everything and I mean everything had to be modified to a much higher quality , I’m not waisting my money on anymore George lynch Ltd models unless the can. Have at least 1000 series Floyd with real pickups , I can handle that , guitars are gorgeous though

Carl N.

The 200 series Lynch is made to be a more affordable option compared to the ESP offerings.  The previous LTD Kami 4 had the items you are requesting but perhaps the quality of the ESP models would be more to your liking.

Bernie L.

I agree with on the affordable thing and in no way I’m I trying to disrespect anyone in the company, the Ltd kami 4 has It all in my opinion, the kami 4 has the 1000 series Floyd and great pickups , I have a problem mainly with the Floyd Rose special, it doesn’t stay in tune the fine tuners can be very difficult to fine tune , cuz the tuner won’t turn properly and I would love a true esp George lynch guitar but it’s just a tad pricey for me lol , I wish all the George Lynch’s Ltds’ were like the kami 4 , I hope everyone there stays strong and healthy and may god bless

Michael L.

yeah Bernie totally agree...the paint work overall is the best BUT anything besides the appearance is total garbage...once you get around the $1,000 mark the LTD's are made so much better....nothing beats the old school ESP Signature Series or the Standard Series WHICH I am so lucky to have a 2011 M-I NTB black Satin.....

Thrasher

Any thing coming up at Summer NAMM for George Lynch?  I would really like to see a GL-500 level guitar.  I know you've had them in the past, but there isn't a current GL-500.  Maybe the Yellow Tiger, but with a better Bridge P/U and a Floyd Rose 1000 "Original" Tremolo.  Just a thought.

Todd B. ESP

Hey Thrasher, thanks for that suggestion. No plans for this summer with George. Recent models we released were in our  higher price point, for example the Kami-4 had a Seymour Duncan pickup and 1000 series FR bridge.

Ryan D.

Could you tell me what the clear coat is on this GL-200MT? Is it Polyurethane? or something else?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Ryan, Yes it is polyurethane.

MrScary88

Is the truss rod adjustment at the headstock on this guitar or at the butt of the neck requiring you to take the neck off to adjust it?

Todd B. ESP

Hi MrScary88, great question, I realize it's hard to tell from the photo! The truss rod is accessible under the nut at the headstock.

Yuan H.

is LH-150B a low end pick up? It’s the best I have ever heard, but if there are better ones I would like to buy a Seymour Duncan or the Screaming Deamon.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Yuan, Thanks for your question. The LH-150B is a less expensive pickup but that doesn't mean that it's "low end". You may be surprised to compare our pickup to an expensive pickup from a pickup manufacturer and may not find much difference. Of course it is natural to want to test or experiment with different pickups and their sounds, so we encourage you to find a different pickup if you want to try something different. A Screamin Demon pickup is a good pickup but please make sure you understand the characteristics of the pickup. It is certainly not a hot pickup. It is very clean sounding (George likes his sound from the guitar to be very clean). There are a variety of pickups out there that can be very clean to very hot and everything in between. You can also experiment with different magnets to give you more warm sounds (Alnico), etc. So basically whether a pickup is better or worse is all subjective but it's part of being a guitarist to get to know different pickups and which one works best for you.

Yuan H.

Hi, ESP. So happy to own this guitar, mine is the 2009 version made in China.

Sounds definitely fantastic,  I use it to play hair metal songs!

Could you please tell me what the heel width of this guitar is?

I would like to Change the guitar neck after the Yellow tiger that George Lynch used in 1985.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Yuan, Glad to hear you like this guitar! The heel width should be around 57mm (this is the width at the last fret). It is always best to measure your model because the thicknesses can vary slightly in manufacturing guitars due to woodworking and painting tolerances.
