Paul L.

I haven't seen this model in stock anywhere in the last month or so. Will it still be available, or has it been discontinued?

Todd B. ESP

Hi, yes this model has been discontinued this year. You may still be able to find one if you search our dealers.

Rach Adkins

I need this model with the fixed bridge in right handed version?

Todd B. ESP

Hi, Thanks for your suggestions. All the models we carry are listed, unfortunately we do not have the exact one you are looking for but thanks for letting us know what you are looking for.

George R.

Does this model have stainless steel frets like the black ash model?

Carl N.

if you have any questions you may reach out to our customer service team at customerservice@espguitars.com or https://www.espguitars.com/pages/support

Shyamanta B.

Is it possible to customize this guitar through the "Customize Orde" form ?

Carl N.

Sure, you'll need to take it to a dealer to receive a quote

PAUL C.

This new model looks great and has impressive specifications. Just about everything I would want if I went for a custom job. Hope I get to see this at a music shop to try out. Thanks for keeping that hot rod Strat style going, one of my favorite types of guitar. This is where ESP/LTD is expanding the evolution & design of guitar making.

Carl N.

glad you're enjoying it

Just wanted to give you a little push

This arrived at my house 2 days ago. Literally out of the box this is automatically my favorite guitar I've ever had. Wow. I was thinking everything you said, but I decided to just order it. I promise, if you roll the dice on this online order, you will absolutely not be disappointed. It was setup perfect and didn't even need to be tuned.

PAUL C.

@Petr, glad you like your new guitar bro! I may pull the trigger on this, seems lower in price now too. But glad I was able to help you out with my words. Choosing the right axe is a personal decision and it definitely takes a lot of time to think it through. I overthink before I commit to buying, and those I passed on are not even afterthoughts now so I know I made the right decision. Enjoy your new axe and don’t forget God made Rock n’ Roll for you!

PAUL C.

Just wanted to let you all know that I finally bought this guitar. I love it, everything as promised. For the price point you are getting a whole lot of guitar. The Seymour Duncan pickups, roasted neck, Grover tuners, you cannot go wrong! I bought online through an ESP dealer who was great by the way. Love the Floyd Rose 1000, this the same one used on all EVH USA and Special line of guitars. EVH picked this Korean version over the German one because of tighter saddle spacing and because of the tone of the bent steel base plate over a cast iron plate (references provided upon request). Anyways, this guitar sounds great, feels great, and has already provided hours of enjoyment. This is a super bargain that is could easily cost more if made in Japan. This is the best deal I have ever had on a guitar purchase, nothing left on table, and I feel like I got everything I wanted out of a guitar. If you are thinking about this, get it! This is what a Fender Stratocaster should have evolved into, who cares what the purists think! It doesn't even matter that ESP is not the label on the headstock, if anything this LTD is the star of the show, a guitarist's guitar! I am proud to own this and feel good because it feels like my own signature guitar. Thank you all at the ESP LTD team!

Matthew L.

Just picked one of these up, really love it!

Pictures don't do the finish justice. Most photos make the paint look flat bright white, but it is is an off-white pearl color with a beautiful texture to it. It has little flecks in it that give it a bit of sparkle at an angle without being too flashy. I love that the pickguard is matte finish as well, it's a great contrast.

So far, I'm really pleased, you can go full shred with 24-fret access and locking tremolo, or tap into that single coil sound and tackle classic rock, blues, funk. Truly versatile guitar with classic yet aggressive looks!

Setup was good out of the box, I tightened up the spring tension just a tad to correct about a degree or two of float angle and adjusted for a bit more relief on the neck, but that's expected after shipping, changing climates and letting the wood adjust. String height and intonation were spot on.

Carl N.

glad you're enjoying it and thanks for sharing

Hi. Can you tell me if the thin u neck contour starts narrow and gets wider? I’ve played a Music Man evh and axis for years. Recently got Charvel SC1 but the neck is a bit wide from 1st to 5th fret but I got used to it. Is this ESP neck somewhere between the two I have? I love everything else about this model.

Carl N.

All necks will start narrow at the nut then widen as is goes down the fingerboard.  I cannot speak about the charvel but this will be 42mm at the nut and widen to about 57mm at the end of the fingerboard

Larry M.

I really like this guitar! I love pearl white and seafoam green. Those 2 colors have sort of become my "signature" colors. I'm not sure about the "roasted" maple because I prefer regular maple or rosewood to ebony. I wish it was guardless though. I would really like to try this but have my eye on another brand with the zebra-style pups.

Carl N.

Thanks for sharing!

Tim S.

I'm not familiar with the SE bridge. Is it much different than the Floyd Rose special?

Carl N.

You can view it as an upgraded FR special

Larry M.

You won't really notice a difference. I think the 1000 has somewhat thicker fine tuners and a handle that supposed to have zero play in it.

Alan C.

Where can I find instructions on the 5-way switch and which positions activate which configuration? Just bought this, arrived today, no manual. Only manual I can find on line seems to be for dual hum-bucker set-up. Thanks in advance.

Carl N.

Hey Alan, five-way switches are pretty common, bridge - bridge/middle - middle - middle/neck - neck.  Hope this helps.

Ray Bz

When will AMS start stocking these? I have seeing Prostar offer preorders for a few months now.

Carl N.

Hey Ray, best to inquire about this with AMS, they'd be the most aware of their current stock or when they plan to receive shipments.

Bob O.

Also a better 5-way and jack.

Bob O.

I just got this one and installed original Floyd, better pots and cap. with Duncan whole lotta humbucker in bridge, hot rail in the neck and a vintage rail in the middle. Sweeeeet guitar.

Todd B. ESP

Hey Bob, Thanks for sharing your upgrades. Sounds like this guitar is perfect now!

Hekate's flame

Bob what did it take for you to put the original Floyd Rose into this guitar? Was it easy or did you have luthier do it for you and he removed more wood to fit the FR original in there?

Hekate's flame

Make this in some of color options Charvel does (silver, purple, dark teal with black pickguard), add the Fishman set back into it or a non-Duncan with splittable bridge. I think a bridge similar to the Ibanez AZ would also be perfect or one that does deep divebombs w/o a locking nut.

The white body with the  back of the roasted neck looks great.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Hekate, thanks for those suggestions and comments.

Hekate's flame

Actually, I am curious about the Sophia bridges. I tried the Ibanez and was not impressed.

Todd B. ESP

Hi , Have not tried those yet myself.

Remi V.

Danku

Todd B. ESP

Hello Remi, Thank you for your questions and comments. I hope that you are able to understand my response. Yes I think this guitar would be an excellent choice for you. You will find that this guitar is very versatile in sound. Any guitar can be used for Metal, Rock or any type of music, although certain combinations of pickups and guitars do work better for certain types of music. This SN-1000FR model had a nice smooth neck, large frets and is very comfortable to play. With the humbucker and 2 single coil pickups, you can get many different sounds. The Floyd Rose system will keep your strings locked and in tune very well, you only need to learn how to adjust and set the bridge and nut which is not very difficult. I hope this information is helpful and hope you can try one of these guitars. Thank you for contacting us and good luck!

Ryan B.

If you went 2 point non-locking tremolo, chrome hardware, pearloid pickguard w/roasted maple neck/fb, and a different color (or maple veneer), the market would open right up for the SN-1000. It would immediately compete with the Ibanez AZ. I've abandoned a bunch of my more expensive guitars in favor of the SN-200 because it just plays and feels better. The neck on my SN-200 is the best neck I've ever played.

Chris V.

Completely agree. The neck is the selling point of LTD’s, we’re crying out for more SN1000 options!! Sonic blue, shell pink, silver - target the Suhr’s & Ibanez AZ’s!

Todd B. ESP

Hi Chris, thanks for adding your feedback here. Great to hear this and thank you!

Todd B. ESP

Hey Ryan, Thanks for sharing your insights and suggestions. We'll pass these along to our product development team here. It's great to hear that you like your SN-200 so much. Thanks again for your feedback.

Chris V.

How many pieces of alder make up the body?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Chris, typically the body uses 3 pcs of alder but we do not specify this in our build. hope this helps.

mui rob

If this was a hardtail or a tremolo I would get it in a heartbeat sosad

Todd B. ESP

Hi, thanks for your suggestions.

Ryan B.

Please do a lefty

Todd B. ESP

Hi Ryan, thanks for your suggestions. Sorry we don't offer it currently in LH.

Robert D.

Is the floyd a special edition? Is that was SE stands for?  I'd be very disappointed if this is a floyd rose special on a $900.00 guitar.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Robert, This is not a Floyd Special. It is the Floyd 1000 Series Original spec, with the SE (Special Edition) stainless steel screws & bolts.

Robert D.

Thanks Todd, It's good news as this is on my list of future purchase.  I'd love to see more color options and ebony fingerboard.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Robert, ok great!
