Hi, have you thought about releasing a version with an active pickup at the bridge? For example an EMG 57.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Chris, We only released the first version with passive pickups. Currently there is no plan to make an active version. Thank you for your suggestion. It's always difficult choosing the 1 pickup to use when so many players have different pickups that they choose for their sound.

Hi, can you tell me the type of mahogany used?. And also the approximate weight fo the guitar?

Todd B. ESP

Hi, we use Southeast Asian mahogany on our production instruments. Approximate weight should be around 8.5 lbs.

i gonna get this in lefty..bout time u guys making crazy color for lefty too instead of just plain black or greyy

Todd B. ESP

Hey aragami, thanks for your comment. Glad we could get you one of the new models as an option. I know it must be frustrating as a LH player because the options are very limited.

Are the new 2019 LTD's still built in South Korea or Indonesia?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Bryan, Most all of the new product is built in Indonesia. There may be a couple models such as new signature models and the multiscale guitars made in Korea, but we build most of our LTD high end products in Indonesia now.

They r beautiful this is going to be very difficult love stainless steel ,been wanting to upgrade to ESP USA but these new LTD 'S are awesome..

Hey Michael, thanks for the comments. If you like stainless steel, are you referring to the frets or the FR parts? We don't offer stainless steel on LTD guitars, but we use stainless steel frets for our USA guitars.
