What are the differences between this model that has the "Deluxe" on the headstock compared to the others that do not have?

Carl N.

Hey Josiah, not really sure what you mean.  Are you trying to compare 400 and other series to the 1000 series?  There will be varying differences in the woods used along with hardware and electronics between these lines of instruments.

Emmett L.

Its a damn shame that it's chambered! If it wasn't chambered, I'd pick it up in a heartbeat.

Carl N.

Don't worry Emmett, we offer plenty of other Eclipse instruments that aren't chambered

ahhh the Ec-1000 LTD series all are chambered??! I wish they mentioned that in the specs, I guess I'll sell this one and buy another one with a 1pc neck and a full body. Idk what brand I want yet, but I hate chambered guitars and thought they would learn from Gibson... I do love ESP/LTD, but if i find something better I might pick it up instead.

Will this Silverburst change color to more of a yellowish green over the years? Or did they make them so that they don’t do that anymore?

Carl N.

Hey Seth, there are a lot of external factors that can cause finish to discolor over time.  If you are trying to avoid this with your instrument it would be wise to keep it stored in a case, not leave it out in direct sunlight, clean the instrument after use, and be sure to monitor the surrounding humidity.  40%-60% relative humidity is typically the norm for acoustic and electric instruments.

Don't judge them just because they are made in indonesia, i work in a big music store in my country, last year i wanted to buy a EC-1000T and i tried at least 4 of those guitars before buying one, the first 3 that i tried were korean made, all of them with bad fret work, twisted neck joints and imperfect finishes, the last one was made in indonesia and it was perfect. Give them a try!

Hi Aiol, thanks for your comments. I'm happy to hear you like the quality of our guitars made in Indonesia. However I'm disappointed to hear the quality of the guitars you checked from Korea was not good. Regardless of where we manufacture our instruments we do our best to insure the best quality possible and stand behind our quality and warranty.
