There should be more Arrow series with Seymour Duncan Blackout pickups. Would be sick if they came in the new candy apple red arrow-1000.

Try out a Jackson King V or Rhoads if you're looking for a V with passives in this price range. Now that many LTD models are built in Indonesia (I used to favor LTD over Jackson when LTDs were still built in South Korea), you have nothing to lose going for a Jackson if your mind is set on a V-shape with passives.
