This isn't mentioned anywhere in the specs but this guitar has luminlays on the side of the neck. Very cool. Got mine yesterday.

We'll be reorganizing our website shortly and this is one of the specs we will be listing, thank you for your comment.

Love this guitar. Planning to order one. Is there a bit of a purple shade in the middle of some of these guitars? I’ve seen some pictures online of the Black Natural Fade but they look to have a purple tint in the middle. Would love clarification on this before buying.

Carl N.

Hey Austin, the finish of this instrument will be a black to natural fade, though depending on the setting of the camera taking the picture or the setting of your monitor perhaps they seem purple.

Just received this guitar and it kicks ass!! Just wondered do you know what brand and size the fretwork is??

Carl N.

Hey James, there won't be a particular brand for these frets but they'll be most similar in size to Dunlop 6100 frets.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply! Any plans on this model coming in the purple fade like the 7 string version?

Carl N.

Hey James, nothing planned at the moment but thank you for your insight!

Will you guys ever consider making a limited run of the M-II with the regular headstock shape? I absolutely love the M-II body shape (flat top) but the reverse headstock just doesn't do it for me.

Carl N.

Hey James, the standard for M instruments would be the reverse pointed headstock.  Some LTD instruments within this series offer a different headstock but all current E-II M guitars will have a reverse pointed headstock.  We do offer a couple USA M models that have a different headstock as well.
