Jan T.

After more than half a year of ogling it I have finally ordered one - it's supposed to be here by Tuesday. Hopefully it'll live up to my expectations...

Carl N.

hope you enjoy it

Mine is in the mail. How are you liking yours?

Tyler B.

Love the style of this guitar and I am considering buying one, but I do have 2 questions:

1) What is the weight of this guitar? I know many guitars of this body shape are on the heavier side.
2) What is the neck profile on this guitar like? Is it the same profile as the horizon series 7 string neck?

P.S. if this guitar was released with a 27" scale length I would immediately buy it. Since Evertune is incredible for downtuning, as are baritone scale lengths, having an ESP baritone guitar with an Evertune bridge would be a game changer.

Carl N.

These will be around 9lbs and both neck profiles will be the same thin U at 20mm at the 1st fret and 2mm at the 12th

Good day good people!

Are there any plans to release a 27" scale version of this for cave trolls like myself?

Carl N.

Hey John, no plans at the moment.

Vadim Ketivo

I back you up on this one! 27" scale would fit just perfect on this axe! This guitar is spectacular!

Tyler B.

Ditto. If this had a 27" scale length I would buy it, no hesitation

Jan T.

Hi ESP, is the maple top on this black beauty a veneer or is it thicker, i.e. a "proper" top?

Carl N.

Hey Jan, this will be a traditional maple top.

Benjamin S.

It arrived and is now my favorite guitar in my lineup (that's saying a lot considering my American Made Jackson Soloist rips).  This guitar plays fast as hell and sounds warmer than I ever thought a 7 string could sound.  The finish is impeccable and the satin feels amazing on the neck.  If you aren't onboard with Evertune then you're all wasting precious time tuning your instruments!  God bless the Japanese luthiers that make these guitars!  This thing stacks up against a Gibson Custom and it's about half the price!  Now Please make me an E-II 8 string with Evertune and a satin finish so you can take more of my money!!  LOL.

Hiya,

First of all, congrats! I must admit I have terrible GAS for this particular guitar, but it's really hard (impossible so far) to find one in a shop to try out. I'd buy it blind, but the one concern I have is how it handles drop A tuning, which I how I tune my guitars. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to wobbly/unstable/oscillating low A, and out of my 3 guitars only the 26.5 scale Schecter gave me a dead-stable, powerful powerchord on the open-strings drop A. The other 25.5 guitars I have cope (with really thick strings, i.e. 68/75), but the A sound weaker, less bassy if that makes sense and a bit less stable. Would you kindly do me a favour and try this baby out in drop A for me? Thank you and congrats again!

Oh, and Youtube needs an unboxing/review video of this guitar, as OI haven't any reviews yet! If you do make one, pleas epost a link here too!

Oh, and also what is the access not higher frets like? Thanks

Carl N.

Thanks for sharing Benjamin!
