Nicola V.

Hi, what is normally the weight of the full thickness and the standard thickness one? Are both models chambered? Thanks

Todd B. ESP

Hi  Nicola, the weight will vary from guitar to guitar depending on each piece of wood. However, the average or typical weight should be approximately 8lbs for the standard E-II Eclipse and a little more than 9lbs for the E-II Full Thickness Eclipse. Hope that helps.

Will you make an E-II Eclipse with an Ebony Fretboard, 24 Frets and a Floyd Rose? I'm considering buying an LTD EC1001-FR or a Gary Holt model but the EC1001-FR has a Rosewood Fretboard and the Holt model does have Ebony like I want but it has 22 Frets. I just can't win here... If there was an E-II version to fit my desired specs I'd get it for sure. Just putting it out there.

Hi Richard, thanks for your suggestion. All the E-II Eclipse have 22F at this time, but if we were to offer a Floyd Rose version your specs make sense. EC-1001FR is probably your best option at this time.

Why don’t you add the 81/60 set

Todd B. ESP

Hi Max, we are using a new pickup from EMG, the 57/66-TW. It allows the pickups to be split into a single coil. WE do have the 81/60 set available in some other models but it's not an option on this model.

When will this guitar hit stores or be able to be pre-ordered?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Daniel, you can preorder these from our dealers, but not from our site. These should be shipping around April but we will fill our backorders first.
