Will this model get SS frets? Mh-1001 has them but this doesn’t.

Timothy J.

I got one of these a year ago from Sweetwater. Since then it's become the guitar I most frequently use despite owning a number. It's a well built (flaweless actually) guitar, plays with  comfort like an old warn in friend except without the unnecessary wear. I like to get another E-Ii at some point. Brilliant guitars.

Hi

Does this ESP E-II M-II HT have stainless steel frets?  Thank you.

Is the price still $2199.99? I noticed the others are more expensive. Does the price increase not effect this guitar?

Colin Parks ESP Artist

Picking up this as my main touring guitar, alongside an e2 M-II  black natural fade tomorrow!

Incredible guitars, road ready, professional level machines built for the stage and studio.

Will leave the ESP amotts at the studio from here on in, and fly the e2 flag live

Wonderful guitar
I have a question
What is meant by: Construction set-thru neck?
Is it similar to neck thrut?

Todd B. ESP

Hi, Set neck with a carve similar to a thru neck. If you have any other questions please contact our customer service team at customerservice@espguitars.com

The Impermanent One

The set-thru neck is a set neck, but a longer piece of the neck goes into the body, giving the guitar more of a neck-through feel and tone, however preserving the qualities of a set neck body, or at least as I understand it. I have played this guitar and the heel is carved just like neck-through and you wouldn't notice any difference, but tone-wise it's not as dark sounding as a neck-through. Very clever design.

Can you tell me the price? Please

Is this guitar made with a satin neck nowadays? Because I've seen pictures from some retailers where it looks to be satin.

I got my lefty in from my local dealer and love it! My only thing is the page specs are off, or my dealer switched the strap locks to Dunlop. Did you guys change brands?

oh man, is the back of the neck actually glossy finish? When i saw the maple fingerboard i got my hopes up that the  entire neck would be satin...but the pics look like gloss

Carl N.

The neck will be gloss like the rest of the instrument

Joey T.

This is a beautiful guitar. Wish it was a 7 string though lol. I'd buy it tomorrow.

Carl N.

thanks for the suggestion

Jernej P.

Can this handle drop C with stock nut? I mean like 11-52 strings? Or would it need fileing? I cant find a clear answer on that. Deciding on that or on the floyd version.

Carl N.

Anytime you change string gauges, whether going up or down in size, you will need to modify the nut and have the instrument set up properly for that tuning/gauge.

Holden A.

will you guys ever make this in a 7 string model

Carl N.

Hey Holden, we have two seven string M-Series instruments at the moment, unfortunately not in this color though.

JAck R.

why dont you sell bare knuckles on any of the 1000 series ltd guitars I would love to have that option

JP 704

Man I gotta get one, torn between this one & faded black. Would look nice with my Eclipse BB. So curious to hear those Bare Knuckles. Have EMG's in all my ESP's, how do they compare in sound?

Todd B. ESP

Hi JP, Both guitars look and feel amazing. However, the sound will be different than you are used to with your EMG's. If you prefer EMG or active pickups you may not want the Bare Knuckles, but if you are open to a passive sound, then I think you would like them. The Bare Knuckles are hot and certainly have the ability to cut through with their ceramic magnets so can certainly be used for heavy rock or metal, however there is something about EMG's active tone that is hard to get with a passive pickup. Hopefully that makes sense. I would certainly say you should try one out and see if you like the pickups unless you want to keep that EMG sound.

Will K.

How would I go about buying this exact guitar in a different finish, specifically amber cherry sunburst? UK-based.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Will, We do not offer custom options for our E-II or LTD line. We only build them as you see them, but it's possible we could add a color you are interested in for future product development.

Jkrunch2166

This guitar is stunning, I'm definitely gearing up to buy it! Based on the pictures, I was curious - are the side dots luminescent? Additionally, are the bare knuckle aftermaths it comes with 4 conductor pickups?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Jkrunch, Glad to hear you like this model! Yes the side does are luminescent (glow in the dark). And the Bareknuckle Aftermaths are 4 conductor.
