I purchased this guitar a while back, it’s my new favorite, I’d love to see this in orange with black hardware, either way I love it, glad I choose it over a 7 string, keep up the good work!
Glad you're enjoying it and thanks for your suggestion!
Thanks for the reply. Another question - would this guitar be able to withstand the tension from tuning to standard D (D G C F A D)?
Hi Matthew, it's not ideal for standard tuning but it will work. Keep in mind that the string tension will be very high compared to a standard guitar. So with some adjustments and standard string gauge it will work. I would recommend trying a regular 9 or 10 gauge set at that tuning.
Regarding the pickups in this guitar, how easy would it be to switch to a different set? I have some in mind from Bare Knuckle Pickups.
Hi Matthew, It would be very easy, but if you don't know how to wires please consult with a technician or online tutorial before attempting to do it yourself. If you are good with tools and your hands and can solder, then it should be easy.
Is the tuning stability on this guitar good? I play in drop a
Hi Onyx, This guitar certainly will perform better being that it is a baritone. For tuning stability there are a few factors such as strings and how they are installed as well as the type of tuning machines. The tuning machines on this model are very standard, and I would suggest trying them out first. They may work fine, but some people prefer locking tuners which usually perform better. In my experience if you put a few winds on each tuning key post and wrap them neatly and stretch out the strings, they should perform well.
? What are the set up specs for this guitar. Neck relief, string hieght, etc. Thanks
Hi Kris, You can find our general setup specs and guidelines in our owner's manual on our website support section here: https://cdn.connectsites.net/user_files/esp/site_assets/000/000/436/original.pdf Please keep in mind that most players have their own personal preferences when it comes to things like string action and relief, so we recommend you start with our general guideline and tweak it from their to meet your playing needs.
