What is the "LTD by Floyd Rose" tremolo?  Is it equivalent to or a rebranded FR Special?

    Hi christopher s, thanks for your question. This bridge "LTD by FR" is a production bridge offered by Floyd Rose for manufacturers like us. It is not exactly the same as the FR Special but very similar. You will find this bridge on our 200 series and lower priced instruments. Once you get to the 400 series you will find the FR Special, and the next level up is on high end signature LTD and 1000 series where you will find the FR 1000 series. But to answer your question, there is not a big difference between the FR Special and LTD by FR.

        Hi Dan, many models go through changes over the years. This model has been bolt on in more recent years.

          You guys should really bring back the banana headstocks because I think that's what makes the guitars stand out more rather than the regular pointed headstocks.

            Hey Seth, Unfortunately you won't see the banana headstock on our new instruments. It's not a shape we can use any longer.

                  Thanks, Todd,  I have two guitars - a see-thru black, and a red.  I'd really like something a little brighter for my next one, but it seems like most of the new ones are in a black and maybe a red.  I definitely won't get another in a color I already have...
