I just got this guitar new/open box with a case for a steal and it is my new favorite, gorgeous, play's like a dream and the pick ups, Seymour Duncan Custom 5/Jazz are the best!

Cant wait till I get my strings on her and a professional set up!

Does this one have a Maple cap or only a veneer on a Mahogany body?

Hi there. I bought this model today from a music store in New Zealand (The Rockshop) and it is beautiful! Sounds great too. I have noticed though that the tone knob is not push/pull for the coil split, as stated here on the website. Were there some versions of this model made without coil spitting? The salesperson informed me the guitar I have bought is a Korean-made example. Thanks :-)

I don't think people outside of the metal community realize how good ESP/LTD guitars are. They aren't just metal guitars. I play classic rock/blues and then swap over to punk/grunge stuff and my LTD H400 and LTD EC1000 handles both with ease. I just bought the LTD EC 1000 in blue natural fade and it's sick.  This green one is amazing. Has it been discontinued? I didn't see it when I purchased my other Eclipse but would love to have one, especially if they are getting rare.  Thanks!

Thanks for sharing.  The See thru green model is still a current model which can be purchased through our site or from any of our dealers.
