Is the listed nut width accurate? If so, it's one of the narrowest production 5-strings I've come across...
yes, this is accurate
The reason I bought this bass... tone .. in a year control unit got spoilt..... Esp doesn't sell that unit... So... waste of money.. watch what you are buying
sorry to hear of your troubles, you can reach out to our service department if you need assistance with replacement parts. They can be reached at customerservice@espguitars.com
I just got mine delivered. I plugged it in and the first thing that struck me was how low the output is. I have a 60 Watt combo amp and had to turn the master volume way up to get some sound, but still not much. I did put the 9 Volt battery in, but I'm wondering how this tone boost actually works. Please advise.
Doesn't sound right, may be the pickup height. If you need further assistance you can reach our service department at customerservice@espguitars.com
Yes just got mine and noticed that too. Had to turn up the levels way up on my pre amp in order to record at a decent level into my DAW.
Bit confused about the control knobs as they don't seem to affect the sound that much at all...
Other than that actually sounds pretty good straight out of the box!
connect the battery man
What exactly is engineered hardwood?
Hey Charles, it is made of wood material that is layered, ground, or otherwise converted to a form that can be shaped and bonded back together to make a material with similar characteristics but usually at lower cost. Hope this helps!
Awesome. That seems like a good idea to waste less wood and also get that uniform dark color everyone likes on the fretboard.
What type of gig bag comes with this bass?
Hi Cooper, it is just a very plain, simple black bag with our ESP logo.
