So what's the difference between thin u and thin flat if they are both 350mm radius?
Hi Ron the Thin Flat shape has a little flatter shape on the back while the Thin U has a more rounded shape. Both shapes are comfortable and both have the same thickness of 20mm @1F and 22mm @ 22F.
What's the radius of the fretboard? Looks amazing!
Hello, It's listed in the specs: 350mm.
What is the purpose for the bubinga stringers?
Hi Ron, Multi piece laminations add strength and beauty. Our basic version is a 3pc maple neck. By adding 2 extra laminates (in this case we currently use purple heart and in the past we used bubinga), this adds an element of contrast with the darker wood. It also increases the strength. There could be an argument made for the sound characteristics being affected which is true, although probably not noticeable.
This guitar is very cool, a Floyd Rose version would be great, like the one from 2015. Or a Kahler 2300 version. I would pre-order it yesterday.
Hi Vekton, thanks for that suggestion. Sounds pretty cool.
Is there no option to have this with a Floyd Rose locking tremolo? It's about the only thing I'd have different than stock.
Hi Tony, This model is not offered in a Floyd Rose version and we don't offer different options for guitars since they are built according to the same specs you see online. However we could release something like this in the future with a Floyd bridge.
