Beside the pickups, and fixed bridge, is it the same as horizon fr - black natural burst? Same sound?

Carl N.

These will be roughly the same instrument but naturally different pickups will evoke different sounds.  While they may sound similar while played when they are not plugged in, the pickups of these two guitars will produce different tones ultimately.

Can this guitar be drop-tuned in BEADF#B with strings .011/.016/.024/.032/.042/.056?

Carl N.

Yes it can, be sure to have it professionally setup if you're unfamiliar with working on your own instruments.

Axel M.

Great, thank you!

Bruce M.

I would buy this in a heartbeat if you brought back the standard headstock and  she through black cherry finish.

Carl N.

Hey Bruce, you could always go through our custom shop for an instrument that deviates from our standard offerings.

Like this one? I'll let you know if i decide to sell it.

Quick question, the prices on all three colors now appear to be the same. I thought originally the tiger amber fade was a little more expensive because it offered coil splitting. Why the same price for all three now?

Carl N.

Hey Sean, might have been a typo, no need to charge any different for these as they are basically the same instrument with different color finishes.

Sean D.

Ok thanks. I’m just wondering why the tiger amber fade color has coil splitting listed under the bridge and neck PU, but the other colors don’t. Do they all have coil splitting or not?

Carl N.

Hey Sean, this is a running change that was made fairly recently.  These models will have the 57tw/66tw sets with push pull functions but as there are still some of these models on hand with us and dealers that we produced prior to this we have held off on updating these specifications.

Hello,

I received my guitar a few days ago and man...I am totally blown away.  I love this thing.  I'm very impressed with the Emg 66/57 pickup set.  This Guitar sounds awesome through my simple rig.  The Guitar itself is very resonant and fun to play unplugged as well.

Thank you.

Carl N.

Glad you are enjoying it.  Thanks for sharing William!
