Since I met Metallica in early 90's and watching them with the brand of their guitars that they said ESP, I promise myself that that brand was going to be my unique brand to play, and I still honoring that, ESP for Life!!

Please, make both black and white for left handed. It's 2023 and it's incredible we have to beg for LH guitars. If the business argument is that "not enough players to make profit" the fact that the snakebite and others are available demonstrates the premise's fallacy.

Just picked up my order, and it's absolutely killer! But I am dissapointed that my Bridge Pickup cover is cracked on two screws.

What is the recommended string height for this guitar, using the standard 10-46 strings?

Carl N.

You can view basic setup specifications within our owner's manual

Hi. Just got an LTD Vulture and had a question about the controls. With the pickup selector in the center position with both volumes off neither one will work individually, but if I begin to inch one up then the opposite one will respond and only get as loud as the other knob is set, and vice versa. I assumed it would be just like a jazz bass where you can blend the pickups with the two volume knobs on all the time. Am I missing something, or is my guitar defective?

Carl N.

the wiring of this instrument does not blend the pickups, if in the middle position and a volume is turned down this will ground the signal, does not seem like there is an issue with the wiring but if you need assistance with this you may contact our support team at customerservice@espguitars.com

Hello from Greece, does the satin finish need specific treatment in order to be cleaned?

Carl N.

Just a standard guitar polishing cloth should work fine.  You do not want to use excessive pressure or any solvents on satin finishes as this can gloss over the finish.

Antonis G.

Thanks, for your reply, I am super satisfied with my ltd vultured!

Would the bridge piece James has on his vulture be available for purchase anytime in the future by any chance?

Carl N.

Hey James, I believe this might be something that was made specifically for James and not an item being made for his signature instruments with us.

Ben N.

Does this guitar have two volumes and no tone pot as the specs suggest?  Or is this some sort of typo?

Carl N.

Hey Ben, this will have two volumes.

A. Kolbin

Is this still made in Korea?

Carl N.

Hey Alexis, we are currently manufacturing this model in both Korea and Indonesia.

RonPinotti

What is the country of origin?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Ron, We are currently manufacturing this model in Korea. However,  we constantly monitor production standards at our various factories in Asia where we produce LTD models. Should we determine that a certain facility is capable of manufacturing an instrument to ESP's required standard or better, we may decide to shift production, or in some cases share production of a model, wherever that factory may be located. The guitar should be of excellent quality regardless of where it's made, and it will have passed our own quality assurance testing.

Sam H.

Does this really have a 12" fingerboard radius?

Tyrone E.

Also would like to know. Good question.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Sam, I believe that is a typo. We use 350mm for all our LTD guitars (6 strings). Thanks for pointing that out so we can fix it.

Richard M.

Hi. I have a question. How can I remove a sweat stain off my LTD Vulture?? I sweat a lot and even though it's not a big deal, I'd like to remove it. Thanks

aaron o.

Since no one offered a reply check out these guys at stewmac, https://www.stewmac.com/Materials_and_Supplies/Cleaners_and_Lubricants/

I use them for all my supplies and replacement parts, call or email them and let them know what you are experiencing and they usually can walk you through it.

THen of course you have to rock the sweat bands on your arms from then on just like het does.

Hope that helps

Todd B. ESP

Hi Richard, sorry for the late reply. Here's the issue with satin finishes. The finish is sprayed on and then not touched (not polished or buffed like a gloss finish). That being said, if you have some residue on the top of finish you can use a clean, soft microfiber cloth with a little bit of water and it should wipe off the residue. Be careful that you are not polishing aggressively because that would start to turn the finish more shiny. It is a simple fact that the more you touch or rub up against a satin finish it will slowly change to a semi gloss (more shiny). There is nothing you can do about this. But to remove a little residue, a small amount of water on a cloth should remove it. if you need something stronger you could use a spray polish for guitar, but use very little and wipe very gently and slowly so you do not turn it shiny. I hope this helps.
