Jesse Lingard: “FC Seoul brought documents to Manchester and decided to join”

Jesse Lingard, a former England national team member, joined professional soccer K-League 1 FC Seoul on the 8th.

Lingard attended his joining press conference held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Sangam-dong, Seoul this afternoon, wearing a FC Seoul uniform and expressing his thoughts about the transfer.

He said, “I received many offers last summer, but other clubs only heard the conditions verbally,” and “FC Seoul brought the documents to Manchester and personally checked my physical condition. Passion was visible. I decided at that moment. “We did not consider other teams,” he said.

He continued, “I want to focus on winning every game and performing well as a team,” and added, “I want to be on the field as soon as possible. “I want to win a trophy with this team,” he said.

Lingard came from Manchester United youth and played for Manchester United, West Ham United, and Nottingham Forest, and scored 29 goals and 14 assists in 182 games in the English Premier League, which is considered the world's best league.

Lingard is scheduled to move to Kagoshima, FC Seoul's second winter training camp, to join training. 스포츠토토
