New Rig and Setup

I use two amps to get my tones.  A 2004 model Bogner Uberschall and a 2013 Bogner Barcelona.

In the studio I mostly just used the Uberschall but doubled up with the Barcelona and various pedals like a Keeley modified Rat and a v1 Fulltone OCD.

I was trying to recreate the tone from my song Mother Nature off my latest album and I can't remember what we did in the studio and for some reason didn't update the notes on the spreadsheet I made to track this stuff.

So I had traditionally used either, but not both the Rat and the OCD together to get tones.  I watched a video on how they made the Boss Angry Driver and have tried combing different gain pedals but for some reason always put the meatier sounding ones up front, which is what they realized in making the Angry Driver was that, they switched what they normally would do and found something cool.  Putting the OCD in front of the rat made the rat more tube-like with some great light breakup floating just on top of the meatier grunt underneath.

Now, I want to try them in parallel and bring that back together like you would do in an electronic circuit but I'm not sure how to cable it up to combine the signals back together, yet.  I could use a small mixer but that's just overkill where all I need is a Y splitter that does it clean.  Anyone have an idea beside just using a 2-1 Y?

I break the signal out from one to two with a cheap Taylor amp switcher but it's recombining them that I haven't worked out and am looking for ideas..
