Curious why the E2 M1 and M2 do not have a tone pot? Also why 2 EMG 81s and not the classic 81 (bridge) 85 (neck) combo? Don’t get me wrong I love ESP E2s I have An E2 M2 on back order and own 3 other E2s but always thought it was odd that ESP didn’t add a tone pot to the E2 M1/2? I have a 2018 LTD Deluxe M-1000 made in Korea that has a tone pot? Again just curious. Thanks

M-II’s historically haven’t had a tone pot, at least in the US market.
Dual 81’s is what Kirk used to use, don’t know if that had anything to do with it, but M-II’s in the past (before the E-II days) were offered with either EMG’s or Duncan’s.
My 2021 M-1000 Ebony has a tone pot AND dual 81’s!
