Lemon oil ok on ebony fretboard?

    Hey guys, I have an E-II Eclipse with an ebony fretboard. Do you know if it's ok to use lemon oil on the fretboard for cleaning and maintenance?

    If not, can you please recommend a good product (or non if not needed).

    Well, "lemon oil" that people use on wood instruments isn't actually lemon, it just smells that way. I use the Dunlop 65 series of products for cleaning and maintaining the board, but you can just get a good boiled linseed oil or bore oil and do the same.
