Be careful when you purchase daisy chain power supply cables for your pedals, you might end up with a short in one of them like I did.  I had this ringing noise in my guitar signal , isolated it down to my front pedal board, so I started troubleshooting removing pedals that I thought were suspect, the ring just followed the pedals around, so I guessed it was the power supply, so I got a new one of those, and SAME THING, DAMMIT!  So the only thing left was the daisy chain power supply cable, and I’ll be damned it was the culprit.  I put a new one on it and noise gone.  I megged the old one and it showed 3 ohms almost a dead short. With the problem fixed I could put pedals back I thought were suspect and start playing again. Whew!  What a dilemma......
