Which recording software?

Which recording software?

So I'm looking to buy a new recording software. I currently use a free one that doesn't support plugins. I am a guitarist that's looking to record some of my music more for friends and personal use. I don't need anything really fancy, just something to get the job done but I do want a paid software not free as I will be using ezdrummer and alot of the free stuff doesn't support add ons. I'd like to stay under $100. Thanks!

Studio One 4 works great for me. I barely ever have problems with it. It doesn't support 3rd party plugins but it comes with plenty. That is if you want the $100 version called Artist Edition.

I’m just getting into this.  I bought a Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 and trying to use Reaper.  It’s recording something.  I see the visual in Reaper but I can’t hear anything.

Audacity is the damn favourite that I am using for years. I think you can try it.

Oh, I'm running a business as well, and I understand what you mean. Reliable software is something that actually hard to find.
