i have a LP copy with crappy PUPs and i want to get a new set, i was thinking about JB/59 with Nickel covers any suggestions? i dont have an extreme budget and dont want to do another EMG setup

in nickel they're $90 each so not cheap,
if you go with uncovered black bobbins they're $130 for that set, i'd suggest that since you aren't totally sure what you want, and don't wanna blow a lotta money.

also: shop used pups maybe?

i use my EX and VIper for metal, i want to turn my LP into a all around guitar.....though i just modded it with the JH-3 Graphics....posting pics soon...so i guess metal/hard rock tones

The JB/59 would be a relatively cheap and a diverse selection.
