    Brand of the pots of the ESP Eclipse (EMG, Different?)

    This is a very important question for me, because recently I changed the pots of my Eclipse, I order an EMG Original pots to an internet seller and when I change the pots I notices that they are much more soft to turn and I don't like this sensibility, I prefer much more the older ones that comes from factory, are more stiff and gives to me better sensation (more like "Gibson Pots") and question is:

    -Esp uses from factory different pots? (Not EMG branded)

    -Maybe they sells to me a fake EMG pots and real ones are more stiff?

     

    The older ones says in the pot :  0071A25KH (more stiff to turn)   and have an TQ in the base oh the pot.

    The newer one says in the pot:  TQ0071A25KMQ (Much more soft to turn) and don't says nothing in the base of the pot.

     

    someone can help me, please?

      Sorry man, I don't have any information on that. But, I ordered pots from a different place recently, and they should be arriving soon. They're 25kohm, but I'm not entirely sure they're going to be long enough to thread through the guitar body. (I bought from an amp parts company, they were really inexpensive, so I'm not expecting much.)

      Maybe they'll be stiffer than the Alpha brand pots I've used in the past.
