Line 6 spider II gurgling noises

    My line 6 spider II hd 75 is acting strange, it makes a strange "cggsch" noise when I palm mute and let the strings ring (distorted and clean). does anyone know what the problem is? different cord --- no difference, different guitar --- no difference. I am beginning to suspect that it is the speaker, (I recently bought a new one near christmas), so... WHATS UP???

    Is you bass and gain maxed out? I see a lot of people doing that and complaining about crap tone, controls in moderation make for better sounds.

      nope, I have mids at about 3 o'clock, and bass at halfway, treble is the only one on full, and gain is about halfway.

        Ah... fixed it! it was the way I was wiring the head to the speaker, it said in the manual for the speaker to only use the left side for the hd 75, and both for the hd 150, so I fixed it.
