    Mystery ESP Neck...

    Hi -

    I bought this neck in the early 2000s at a guitar store.

    I always have thought it was super high quality, and given the stamp on the back of the headstock and the handwritten info on the heel, I have assumed it to be a bit special amongst ESP parts. Can anyone shine some light on the provenance of this beauty?

     

    I'm think it must be late 70s Japanese? Thanks a million.

    Starting in the late 70s in well into the 80s, ESP made replacement parts and individual bodies and necks for "partscaster" style builds. This is likely one of those. The ESP engraving on the back of the head stock was common from that era.
