How reliable are online home renting services like SpotaHome or Uniplaces?

    My questions to Uniplaces start with the listing itself that I naively decided to book. You can search for it by entering "Single bed in multiple beds apartement in Milan" — Trustpilot doesn't allow links, unfortunately! Firstly, the validated video doesn't correspond to the apartment's description and the photo of the bed. You can check: the listing doesn't have the same description as it had some time in the past when it was validated with the video. I bet the blurry two-level bed doesn't even exist.

    I prefer the service Rentola I have used several times and everything was fine. Reading reviews and feedback from previous renters can also provide valuable insights into the reliability of a particular host or property.
