    Hi guys, 

    Just out of curiosity, do either ESP or LTD James Hetfield Truckster models (black version) display the same paint effect as the production made scratches or marks if you scratch it on a place that was originally the top coat of black. E.g if you make a scratch or scuff on the black surface layer will it show the wood underneath or the next layer of paint like the arm rest of the body? 

    I don’t have one of these guitars (wish I did) so I can’t find out for myself, but I was wondering if ESP have snuck this cool effect in for any of you to discover.

    You can scratch it hard enough to get through to the wood, but the paint layers go across the entire guitar, so most wear marks will eventually show the other colors beneath.
