    About Kirk's Mummy

    I was curious, so I contacted ESP in Japan.

    As you may already know, Mummy is only made by Kirk himself.

    This guitar is a KH-2 bolt-on guitar that they make for overseas markets (outside of Japan) and someone painted it with Mummy afterwards.

    The guitar itself was made by the real ESP, but as a Mummy it was a fake.

    If you look closely, you'll see that it's not a through neck, the inlays are different, and the number of knobs are different.

    There was a COA, so I thought it was a hidden real one, but it wasn't.

        Yeah, mine was one of this decal's batch, but made on a Neck-Thru KH-2. I add the inlays and black neck back.

        Always mentionned it as a Mummy replica, but still a real ESP.

        The one on the auction up there is a legit KH-2 Bolt On but modified (not enough from my personnal point of view ). And a bit pricy, he won't sell it that much.
