    Does the ESP LTD KH-502 take a R3 or a R4 nut?

    I just received my replacement Floyd Rose Pro tremolo and by my measurements I selected an R3 nut. I'll let you know how it goes. I know I'm late to this post and I hope the question is still relevant.

I’ve got some tubing issues with mine (on my KH-502) and I’m looking to replace either just the Floyd base plate or the entire thing (with an official Floyd). I contacted an ESP rep for more details on the Floyd rose and if the parts are interchangeable with another, but was told that they do not have the specs because this model was discontinued so long ago.

       

      Were you able to swap in the pro without having to route any new holes?
