Gold plated components: Product recommendations?

    Hey All, 

    I have 10years on my LTD ec-1000 deluxe, it’s been awesome.  Obviously replacement of hardware would be easiest, but is there any product recommendations out there to improve the normal wear and tear hardware corrosion? 

    Also having trouble finding a vendor for replacement parts in the event I opt to change them out completely.  I’ve found generic knobs, but prefer to keep ESP/LTD components throughout if I go this route.

    Gold hardware always wears quickly. I've seen people put a clear-coat of over them with varying degrees of success. The stock components on the guitar were made by Gotoh, so you should be able to find replacement knobs from them.
