Finish? Wood? should i be concerned about this nut imperfection?

    This is an LTD Iron Cross i got, found some hairline crack around one side of the nut, i can't tell if its something i should be concerned about or not. 

    Tried to put as many picture as possible. 

    Its only on 1 side.

    Any help appreciated.

    It's a joint between two pieces of binding; the neck and the headstock. In order to make it seem like one piece the builders use a bit of acetone to melt the binding. Here it looks like they didn't do a very good job of it. There's nothing to be concerned about, it's just a little ugly.
