ESP LTD EC-256FM - Bad note on 6th fret

    So I bought this brand new EC-256fm and the G-string 6th fret note sounds terribly harsh and buzzing when played. Any help fixing this? It's the only note on the whole guitar that sounds like this.

    That guitar will benefit from a fret level and crown.

      I just bought it brand new do they usually require leveling right away?

        In my experience, yes. Most every production guitar will get better after a level job. I do all mine myself.
