    Legit ESP body?

    Hi everyone,

    I have an old ESP neck and have been looking for an ESP body for a while. I recently saw one for sale that could fit the bill, but haven’t found anything that looks like it in old ESP catalogs. 

    Allegedly the body in from 1986 and is stock with stock pickups and pots. The only guitar with a body that vaguely resembles this one is a 48th Street Mirage Deluxe but it is not identical. Maybe it is a Kramer body? Zep-II body?

    Any thoughts or insights would be most appreciated.

    It doesn't look like anything I've seen from ESP. I don't have a lot of experience with models from that era, but the back control cover seems odd to me.

      Many thanks as always Pushead. Totally agree, that control cavity cover looks pretty odd. It does not resemble any cavity cover I've seen on early/mid 80s ESPs.
