I took the neck off to see if there was a date written on it but all there is is “S LA-6” on the back of the neck. Presumably S refers to the model but...

All I can say is that it is fun as hell to play...gr8 quality was done in the manufacturing of this guitar & I luv the EMG 81's... very crunchy. I'm very glad I made this choice....
