ESP Remembers Lloyd Schwartz

All of us at ESP Guitars send our condolences to the friends and family of Lloyd Schwartz, who passed away suddenly on Sunday January 19. Lloyd had spent the past 26+ years with Tech 21, an amplifier and pedal manufacturer based in New York. Previous to that, Lloyd worked with ESP.

ESP CEO Matt Masciandaro remembers, "Lloyd was an essential part of the original team of New Yorkers that helped start ESP USA from a loft in Manhattan during the 1980s."

Until the early ‘90s when the company relocated to Southern California, Lloyd served ESP as a graphic designer while also doing freelance design work at a number of national publications. Lloyd was a well known and immensely liked person in the musical instrument and live sound/recording industries, and he will be missed be all.

I had the privilege to work with Lloyd in the custom shop in NYC late 80's. We went to a NAMM show together. He will be missed...
