ENGL Amp Spotlight: Artist Edition 100 E651

ENGL Amp Spotlight: Artist Edition 100 E651

Every ENGL amp has a story, but the Artist Edition 100 head is a legend unto itself. When Doug Aldrich wanted a modified amp that was originally based on the Ritchie Blackmore Signature E650, ENGL made some special modifications... but then the amp remained a prototype in ENGL's Los Angeles showroom. But the amp kept getting requested for sessions at studios throughout LA, with renowned greats like Ken Hammer, Vivian Campbell, Paul Stanley and Scott Gorham having used it. Due to the great response of these world-class players, ENGL decided to raise this model from the prototype stage to the status of an official ENGL amp.
