As ESP's first Signature Series artist, George Lynch brought a unique and powerful vision to the world of custom-designed guitars. The ESP Skulls & Snakes is an excellent representation of the creativity that happened in the 1980s when George and ESP became connected. One of our earliest Signature Series models, the Skulls & Snakes was designed by George as a guitar that could match his mind-blowing playing style. Made by hand by the famous luthiers of the ESP Custom Shop in Japan, it features a comfortable maple body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Its sound, as specified by George, is powered by an ESP Designed single-coil SH-100 pickup in the neck position, and a Seymour Duncan '78 pickup in the bridge spot. The ESP Skulls & Snakes includes a Floyd Rose Original bridge and Gotoh tuners, and comes with a high-quality hard shell case and a Certificate of Authenticity from ESP.

I have the GL ESP Skull and Snakes guitar with the pointy headstock and NO signature. Also the graphic is not as dark and bold and the newer ones - It looks more like the Wicked Sensation Album cover. Anyone know what year that was?

I bought this ESP George Lynch Skulls & Snakes in 2007. It is one of the best guitar that I ever have. Thanks to George Lynch and ESP Guitar. The artwork and the craftmanship on this guitar is amazing. It feel solid and look beautiful from all angles. It has a push and pull knob volume with 2 type of sound (tone). The sound is awesome whether play it on clean sound or with high gain distortion. I am a fan of George Lynch. Any guitarist who look for a great guitar, well, this is a great guitar.
